We had great fun playing in the snow and building our snow models with our friends.

During our Christmas Party we played some seriously difficult party games. Who could stand on the smallest piece of folded paper…..with a friend!

We all brought in an Easter Egg and wore non-uniform in preparation for our Easter tea after school.

Getting ready to dance for Sport Relief. We just needed to copy some of the junior moves!

Reu the Rainbow Gnu came to read his story to us during Book Week. All of the money raised by the sale of the books go directly to Reubens Retreat. We asked the author lots of questions.

Autumn Term 2015

Children In Need Day

We made biscuits in our onesies to help raise money for this special event. A great time was had by all of us!

Our Visit to Manchester Science and Industry Museum

On Friday 13th November the Year 1 children visited M.O.S.I. We learnt about the invention of the Reynolds Chain by the Salford inventor J.K Starkey. We also discovered exactly when the very important Bottom Scratcher was invented!
A big THANK YOU to all of the parents who came with us.

Our ticket to Mars!

On Monday afternoon (21/9/15) we had a special visitor to our class. He is called Rex and he is Mrs Worrall’s son’s pet Bearded Dragon. We all thought up words to describe how he felt when we stroked him and asked Mrs Worrall lots of questions about him.
