Summer Term 2016

This morning, 18 May, the Year 2s from our class learnt all about animation. They used ‘green screens’ to change the background and filmed a stop/start animation with a space theme.

Yesterday (17 May) all the children from Year 1 and 2 visited Holy Trinity Church in Dinting. It was part of our RE work based on special places. We are very grateful to Rob and Mrs Briggs for showing us around, telling us about the many special objects and being so accommodating to all our children.

Our ticket to Mars!

On Tuesday (13 Oct), Carol Wilson from Glossop fire station came in to talk to all the Year 2 children about fire safety. We learnt about the dangers of matches and lighters as well the importance of having smoke alarms to keep us all safe in our homes.
The children watched a video, asked lots of very interesting questions and now have a much better understanding of fire safety. Thank you to Carol and everyone from the fire safety team!
