Heartbeat for Everest

Headline NewsWe were treated to an inspirational visit in Assembly this week from Steve Watts who came to talk to us about his marathon challenge "Heartbeat for Everest". We were truly inspired to hear Steve telling us and showing us his experience at Base Camp Mount Everest when the avalanche struck in April 2014. If anyone was the perfect example of the strength of "Determination" then Steve is it! We have decided to choose the charity as our school charity this year as the British Heart Foundation affects so many and we are really interested in developing our global links with the Himalayan Education Trust. Please do take the time to read the leaflet sent home and enter the competition for this very worthy cause should you wish to.
