Summer Term 2017.

We had a wonderful trip to Magna in Sheffield earlier this term. At times, it was a little scary with all the big spaces and dim lighting but it was great fun. In a workshop, we learnt how to make a ‘goo’ using super absorbent materials. The halls, based around the four elements of earth, fire, water and air, were extremely interesting with lots of ‘hands on’ activities for the children to explore.
The children were great ambassadors of our school, behaving perfectly and showing a great deal of interest in the different areas. At the end of the day, we finished with a play in the park. Thank you to all those who volunteered to come on the trip - your support is greatly appreciated!

Autumn Term 2016.

It has been a lovely start to the new school year…

We have been using the bottom field for Forest School this half term. So far we have made picture frames, wands, ‘Dragon Defence’ bracelets and nests for Owl from The Gruffalo. In addition, we have had encounters with a variety of mythical dragons, elves and wizards.

All children have now completed their certificates in Dragon Defence (part 1)!
